  Be cautious when choosing this daycare for your child care. I have never written a review before let alone a negative one because I am the kind of person that believe in giving second chances or the benefit of the doubt. Having said that, based on my experience with Palmetto Child Care I felt compelled to make it known publically my concerns for anyone considering this daycare.
  I started brining my son there when he was a 3 months old. At first everything was fine but as he got older I began to notice him crying every morning and clawing at me when I would drop him off and when I would pick him up at the end of the day I could hear him crying from down the hall before getting to the infant room. He would either be standing in his crib bawling and clawing at his face or tightly swaddled with both hands behind his back. I told the care taker (the owners daughter who looked to be in her teens and barely qualified) that I did not want my son in his crib unless he was sleeping. The next day when I picked him up he was tightly swaddled with both hands behind his back wide awake. My heart just broke trying to unwrap him while he was trying to get free. I was completely shocked.
  The next day they stapled some papers to his daily update sheet about SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) the same care taker just said someone stapled info for me to read. I was dumbfounded. The next day I decided to visit him on my lunch break and once again I could hear my son crying down the hall and when I walked in I found the owner in the rocking chair with her phone out and she said, "I think your son is autistic". I said, "Why do you say that?" She replied, "Because all he does is cry all day. He doesn't eat, or sleep and we can't even hold him to calmn him down". At that moment i decided it's time to get my son out of there as soon as possible.
  
  I met with another daycare who originally said they didn't have an opening until 3 months but when I described what was going on at Palmetto Child Care she insisted on taking him right away.
  
  Please do not trust your child with Palmetto Child Care. I still regreat everyday that he spent one day there.
